I’m going to miss all of these Olympians like they’re my friends.
Felt the need to reblog that last piece on McKayla particularly because someone on my timeline was complaining about her not being the bigger person (because she didn’t hug the gold medalist first) and saying she should be grateful she won the silver. Seriously?! I’m sure she is grateful but she was also clearly disappointed in herself. She’s a competitive athlete. THIS IS NOT SURPRISING. Why is it that women are not allowed to be human, FOR FUCK’S SAKE
